Operations Assistant - Stornoway ( HS1 2QT) - William Wilson

As a Operations Assistant based in Stornoway , you’ll be responsible for: 

  • Serving customers on the trade counter, offering advice and product knowledge.

  • Driving a 3.5T van to deliver plumbing and heating supplies to our customers.

  • Building rapport with customers & suppliers, responding to any queries whether that is over the phone or email and processing sales.

  • General warehouse duties including, goods in & out, filling paperwork, picking and packing customer orders and merchandising.

This is a Full Time permanent position working 41.5 hours a week, Monday to Thursday 08.00am-5.00pm, Fridays 08:00am-4pm. Alternate Saturdays 09:00am-1pm, paid as overtime.

And here’s what we’d like you to have:

  • Full UK manual driving license is essential.

  • Previous experience in sales/retail/warehouse.

  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn, including the completion of necessary training (forklift licence training will be provided).

  • A strong work ethic and desire to work as part of a team
