We are seeking a highly organized Field Quality Assurance Specialist who brings strong multi-site operations experience and a passion for building consistent, high-quality customer experiences. In this role, you will travel to facilities across North America (up to 75% / approximately three weeks per month) to complete operational and brand standards audits, coach site teams, and translate findings into clear, actionable improvement plans. You will also partner with field leadership and key stakeholders (Operations, Training, and Marketing) to strengthen execution, reduce risk, and help deliver the Mini Mall Experience consistently across our portfolio. What will you do? Lead and execute end-to-end operational and brand standards audits across a portfolio of approximately 40 to 50 facilities, spending most of your time in the field (up to 75 percent travel) while balancing site visits with reporting and follow-up. Produce clear, practical audit documentation for every visit, including scorecards, photos, compliance checklists, and coaching notes that tie directly back to Mini Mall standards. Work alongside Storage Specialists and Property Managers to coach in real time, reinforce best practices, and close gaps without interrupting day-to-day operations. Partner closely with ROMs and RVPs to review audit results and support the development of focused action plans with clear ownership and follow-up checkpoints Support accountability by tracking corrective actions through to completion and validating improvements through follow-ups or re-audits, keeping documentation audit-ready at all times. Identify trends and recurring risks across locations, turning site-level observations into clear, actionable insights for field leadership. Prepare clear, professional summaries and materials that highlight audit findings, trends, and recommendations for field and senior leaders. Share audit findings with site and field leaders, working with ROMs and RVPs who own prioritization, accountability, and timelines. Collaborate with teams like Training and Marketing to turn audit learnings and customer feedback into clearer standards, tools, and job aids that support site teams. Act as a key operational partner to field leadership and cross-functional teams, gaining hands-on exposure to multi-site operations and future opportunities in quality, operations, or related functions. What will you need? 2–4 years of experience in multi-site operations, quality assurance, or field operations (self-storage strongly preferred). Strong operational judgment and attention to detail, with comfort using audit documentation and data (scorecards, photos, checklists, KPI tracking) to identify root causes and priorities. Strong communication skills and a coaching mindset, able to deliver clear, respectful feedback and partner effectively with ROMs/RVPs and cross-functional teams in a highly visible, field-facing role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ability to learn industry tools (PMS, audit/reporting platforms, and ticketing/work order systems). Willing and able to travel up to 75% (~3 weeks/month). Most weeks include Tuesday–Friday travel; the final week of the month is focused on reporting, presentations, follow-ups, and special projects.
