*Job Title: *Engineering Services Coordinator (ESC)
*Reports To: *Program Manager
*FLSA Status: *Exempt

*Summary:*
The Engineering Services Coordinator (ESC) is responsible for the day to day coordination of all of the engineering services programs. These may include non standard repair orders, development projects, transfer of R&D/Engineering products and services into manufacturing. The ESC performs work under the direction of the Program Manager. The job will entail, but is not limited to, the following tasks:
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities *include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Monitor the progress of all engineering services projects using schedules created by the engineers and Chief Technical Officer (CTO).
* Record hours of all engineering personnel each week and submit the monthly report to Finance.
* Assist in Mechanical Inspection of all incoming engineering parts. The ESC may also assist production with incoming inspection (QA) as time permits.
* Create storage location and monitor inventory of engineering services parts in coordination with Master Tech and Purchasing team.
* Assist the Master Technician with putting together kits to build engineering products, which include parts, work instructions and any other documentation required.
* Monitor and record time taken to build engineering assemblies.
* Write procedures and work instructions under the direction of the engineering team and Master Technician to create coherent and consistent documentations for projects, processes and to allow for transition into manufacturing.
* Coordinate with manufacturing personnel to ensure that the work instructions are clear and easy to follow.
* Takes minutes of engineering meetings and project meetings. Monitors action items to ensure they stay on schedule.
* Work with QA manager to schedule and ensure all First Article Qualification tests are completed and accurately documented.
* Coordinate all reports as required to satisfy first article qualification.
* Provide project updates for internal (bi weekly) reports and monthly customer reports documenting the progress of the project(s).
* Provide input for and manage the progress of technical reports and proposals for the engineering team.

*Qualifications:*

*Education/Experience:*
Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent work experience required. Quality and Six Sigma Certification together with PMP Certification preferred. Excellent communications and interpersonal skills required.
Ability to apply for or currently hold an Active Secret Clearance.
*Language Ability: *
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publications that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or board of directors.
*Math Ability: *
Ability to apply basic mathematical concept and mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
*Reasoning Ability: *
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
*Computer Skills: *
Strong computer skills required, including word processing, spread sheets, presentation, MRP and database software applications.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee works in a high-tech manufacturing business office environment with moderate noise levels.
While in the manufacturing areas, various Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) devices & equipment such as safety gloves, hearing protection and safety glasses may be required.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
