Sommaire du poste
Le ou la conseiller(ère) principal(e) agit à titre d’expert stratégique et technique au sein de l’organisation. En tant que partenaire de confiance pour les clients et les équipes internes, cette personne contribue à la réalisation de mandats complexes, soutient les activités de développement des affaires et apporte une expertise de haut niveau dans son domaine de spécialisation.
Ce rôle s’adresse à des professionnels expérimentés possédant une solide connaissance de l’industrie, un fort leadership et la capacité d’influencer les décisions opérationnelles et stratégiques dans des environnements industriels exigeants.
Principales responsabilités
Conseil stratégique et expertise technique
- Fournir des conseils techniques et stratégiques de haut niveau aux clients et aux équipes projets.
- Supporter le développement et l’implantation d’initiatives d’amélioration opérationnelle, de stratégies de gestion des actifs, de programmes de fiabilité, de plans de mise en service ou d’autres mandats spécialisés.
- Participer à des évaluations, audits, études et revues techniques.
- Identifier les risques, opportunités et pistes d’optimisation chez les clients.
- Contribuer au développement de méthodologies, standards, outils et meilleures pratiques.
Support aux projets et livraison
- Supporter les chargés de projets et les équipes techniques dans l’exécution des mandats.
- Agir comme mentor auprès des ressources juniors et intermédiaires.
- Participer aux ateliers, rencontres clients, revues terrain et évaluations opérationnelles.
- Réviser les livrables techniques afin d’assurer leur qualité et leur alignement avec les attentes des clients.
- Favoriser la collaboration multidisciplinaire entre les projets et les secteurs.
Développement des affaires et relations clients
- Contribuer à la préparation des offres de services, à la définition des portées et aux présentations techniques.
- Maintenir et développer les relations avec les clients stratégiques et partenaires industriels.
- Identifier des opportunités de services additionnels et de collaborations à long terme.
- Représenter l’entreprise lors d’événements de l’industrie, conférences et rencontres clients.
Qualifications et expérience
- Baccalauréat en génie ou dans une discipline technique pertinente.
- Titre professionnel d’ingénieur (ing.) considéré comme un atout.
- Minimum de 10 à 15 ans d’expérience pertinente en milieu industriel.
- Expertise marquée dans un ou plusieurs des domaines suivants :
- Gestion des actifs et fiabilité
- Préparation opérationnelle et mise en service
- Optimisation de la maintenance
- Opérations industrielles
- Gestion des risques
- Performance des procédés ou des opérations
- Expérience dans les secteurs minier, manufacturier, industriel lourd ou autres environnements à forte intensité d’actifs.
- Excellentes aptitudes en communication et leadership.
- Excellente maîtrise du français, à l’oral comme à l’écrit, requise. La connaissance de l’anglais, à l’oral comme à l’écrit, est également requise en raison de collaborations régulières avec des clients et des collègues à l’international.
- Disponibilité pour des déplacements occasionnels sur les sites clients.

Position Overview
The Senior Advisor plays a strategic and technical leadership role within the organization. Acting as a trusted advisor to both clients and internal teams, the Senior Advisor contributes to the successful delivery of complex mandates, supports business development initiatives, and provides high-level expertise in their field of specialization.
This role is intended for experienced professionals with extensive industry knowledge, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to influence operational and strategic decisions in demanding industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Advisory & Technical Expertise
- Provide senior-level technical and strategic guidance to clients and project teams.
- Support the development and implementation of operational improvement initiatives, asset management strategies, reliability programs, commissioning plans, or other specialized mandates.
- Participate in assessments, audits, studies, and technical reviews.
- Identify risks, opportunities, and optimization initiatives across client operations.
- Contribute to the development of methodologies, standards, tools, and best practices.
Project Support & Delivery
- Support project managers and technical teams in the execution of mandates.
- Provide mentorship and coaching to junior and intermediate resources.
- Participate in workshops, client meetings, field reviews, and operational assessments.
- Review technical deliverables to ensure quality and alignment with client expectations.
- Contribute to multidisciplinary collaboration across projects and sectors.
Business Development & Client Relations
- Support proposal preparation, scope development, and technical presentations.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with strategic clients and industry partners.
- Identify opportunities for additional services and long-term collaboration.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Professional Engineer designation (P.Eng.) or equivalent considered an asset.
- Minimum of 10–15 years of relevant industrial experience.
- Strong expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Asset Management & Reliability
- Operational Readiness & Commissioning
