The location in Montreal , (Quebec , Canada ), is seeking talent to fill the position of Senior Agent, Accounts Payables . This job is full-time permanent .

Overview: Reporting to the Supervisor, Accounts Payable, your role will consist in ensuring the optimal administration of Accounts Payable.

Your challenges:

  • Enter invoices in the various Domtar payable systems
  • Assist the Supervisor, Accounts payables in the reconciliation of accounts payables.
  • Mail and execute the weekly check run to all mills and internal customers.
  • Investigate and resolve any payment discrepancies.
  • Communicate with locations, vendors, and managers to maintain the information files updated.
  • Advise Supervisor on possible improvements on assigned tasks.
  • You must successfully complete a selection process that includes interviews, aptitude tests (for some positions) and reference verification.

  • You possess strong analytical skills.
  • You demonstrate excellent interpersonal capacities.

Your profile:

  • Bilingual French and English (Required for all Corporate Positions)*.
  • You hold a college degree in accounting or have a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in accounts payables processing in an SAP environment.
  • You have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar position.
  • You master the functionalities of the Microsoft Excel application.
  • You have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
