Key Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day operations of a sales support team handling requests and issues primarily related to quoting, order maintenance, and problem resolution. Monitor call and email quality to ensure responsiveness, accuracy, and a high standard of support for the sales organization. Review performance reports to identify gaps and implement strategies to improve team results. Provide coaching, feedback, and development support to increase representative performance and effectiveness. Lead hiring, training, performance management, and day-to-day direction for the sales support team to ensure strong execution and continuous development. Support the team with quote preparation, order management, and issue resolution to help keep opportunities progressing and commitments on track. Manage escalations quickly and effectively to protect customer relationships, support account growth, and maintain confidence in the sales process. Partner closely with sales leadership and outside sellers to align support activities with business priorities, customer needs, and revenue goals. Enable the sales team through consistent communication, cross-functional coordination, and participation in regular business reviews and planning discussions. Help drive revenue-support objectives by improving team productivity, controlling operating costs, and contributing to profitable growth. Drive process improvement across the team and department What We Are Looking For
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. At least 5 years of related experience. Strong sales support capabilities, including communication, negotiation, issue resolution, and the ability to balance customer needs with business objectives. Solid understanding of products, pricing, and industry dynamics that support effective quoting and account support. Experience with sales operations, inside sales support, or order-to-cash processes preferred. Proficiency with SAP products is a plus. Ability to train, evaluate, and direct the work of assigned employees. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including effective listening. Advanced problem-solving skills and creative thinking. Ability to drive results and address performance issues in a timely manner.
What We Offer
Compensation : This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $76,800 - $100,800 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Under the plan, target compensation is anticipated to be 95% base salary and 5% commission. New hires are guaranteed to receive at least the target commission for six months. The competitive compensation plan also includes an uncapped bonus structure based on performance exceeding 100% of the plan across three individual categories. The bonus amount increases as performance surpasses quota, so the potential payout is not fixed and can grow as over-quota achievements increase.
Benefits : Subject to applicable eligibility requirements, the following benefits are offered for this role: tuition reimbursement; medical, dental, and vision insurance; prescription drug coverage; 401(k) retirement plan; short-term disability insurance; 8 weeks paid birthing leave; 2 weeks paid bonding leave; life and long-term disability insurance.
Depending on date of hire, and subject to applicable eligibility requirements, new employees in this role also receive up to: 12 days paid time off, 2 paid well-being days, 1 paid volunteer day, 12 paid holidays, and 3 floating holidays per year.
