JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Manager, Channel Sales to join our growing team. Responsible for increasing sales, profitability, and market share of company products in assigned region. Principle duties and responsibilities include establishing an action plan to grow current business, obtaining new business and successfully penetrating under-developed markets. Pursue and develop impactful relationships with external customers. Aggressively pursue and secure new sales opportunities. Develop and achieve annual sales forecast and accurate budget proposals. Recruit, interview and hire new employees and terminate employees per business requirements. Lead, direct, manage, coach and develop employees so their efforts are focused on high selling activities in order to improve sales efficiency and productivity. Conduct annual employee evaluations that improve deficiencies and develop capabilities. Approve and decline employee expenses and monitor employee performance of expenses to budget. Other duties may be assigned. Knowledge, skills, abilities proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Customer Relationship Management Software, Quick Quote, Other Electronic pricing methods (MQS/M2O, etc.), Expense Reporting Program, and Internet Web Browser. The employee may be required to travel in support of sales, training, and service management. 50%+ Education and experience Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or minimum of five years related sales experience and/or training, preferably in the window and door industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
