Der Bereich unterstützt den Bertelsmann-Konzernvorstand, insbesondere den Vorstandsvorsitzenden und den Finanzvorstand, bei der Steuerung und Weiterentwicklung des Konzerns. Zu den Hauptaufgaben des Bereichs gehören die Durchführung betriebswirtschaftlicher Analysen sowie die Bereitstellung steuerungs- und entscheidungsrelevanter Informationen über die strategische und wirtschaftliche Entwicklung des Konzerns, die Vorbereitung von Investitionsentscheidungen, die Definition, Weiterentwicklung und Nachverfolgung der Umsetzung der Konzernstrategie und die projektbezogene Unterstützung konzernrelevanter strategischer Initiativen.
Als Senior Manager (m/w/d) Strategic Finance & Investments übernimmst du Aufgaben im Rahmen des strategischen Controllings (inkl. Investitionscontrolling) eines oder mehrerer Unternehmensbereiche und unterstützt die Konzeption, Umsetzung und Nachverfolgung strategischer Projekte. Hierzu zählen insbesondere:
- Eigenständige Analyse und Bewertung der Entwicklung wichtiger Geschäftsfelder eines oder mehrerer Unternehmensbereiche
- Fundierte Bewertung von geplanten Akquisitionen, Desinvestitionen und neuer Geschäftsideen aus strategischer und wirtschaftlicher Perspektive
- Übernahme und Steuerung strategisch bedeutender Sonderprojekte des Vorstands
- Leitung von Teilprojekten zur Umsetzung der Konzernstrategie
- Mit sehr gutem Erfolg abgeschlossenes Masterstudium der Wirtschaftswissenschaften oder des Wirtschaftsingenieurwesens, idealerweise mit Schwerpunkt Corporate Finance, Controlling oder Accounting
- Mindestens 2 Jahre praktische Erfahrung im Bereich (strategic) Finance, (strategic) Controlling oder Unternehmensbewertung, idealerweise in einer Unternehmensberatung, einer Bank oder in der Industrie
- Exzellente analytische und konzeptionelle Fähigkeiten
- Ausgezeichnete Kommunikations- und Präsentationsfähigkeiten
- Hohe Eigeninitiative, ausgeprägte Leistungsbereitschaft und eine klare Ergebnisorientierung
- Technologieaffinität und Kompetenz im Einsatz von innovativen Tools und datengetriebenen Lösungen (z.B. KI-basierte Analysemethoden) sowie die Bereitschaft, eigene Fähigkeiten kontinuierlich weiterzuentwickeln
- Fließende Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
