Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Nebraska Methodist Health System.

Additional Details:

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Unit Details: - Approximately 40-50 treatments per day. - Mainly adult patients, with some pediatric patients in the ER. - Covers all areas. - Cases include CRRT, IABP, CABG/AVR/MVR, TAVR, and lung surgical patients. - Draws ABGs and occasionally performs EKGs. - RTs assist with intubation rather than intubating independently. - Equipment includes Drager, LTV, I-vent, V-60, and Vapotherm. - PAPR, CAPR, and N95 used. - Hospitalist and intensivist in house 24/7.

Shift & Scheduling: - Self scheduling. - Every 3rd weekend. - Holidays rotate with permanent staff. - Call not typically required; 30-minute response time.

7 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 reference required from within the last 3 years

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT
