Department DescriptionSamaritan Gastroenterology serves Linn, Benton, Lincoln, and parts of Marion and neighboring counties. Our team of physicians, physician associates, nurses, and support staff work together to provide full-spectrum care of our patients' digestive health.
Experience/Education/QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.
Registered or Certified Medical Assistant required.
Healthcare Provider BLS required.
Previous medical back office experience/medical assistant training, or completion of a Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant program preferred.
Experience in applicable specialty area preferred.
Lab/EKG experience preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesPatient Care - Possess the skills and knowledge needed to assist and care for others. Ability to recognize symptoms, drug properties and interactions, treatments, and preventive health-care measures within scope of practice.
