Job Description Position Overview The Accounting Team Lead is a remote position leading a team of accounting professionals serving high-growth businesses. The Accounting Team Lead ensures quality and timely delivery of bookkeeping and accounting services while managing client relationships and team development.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily accounting operations and team workflow
Ensure accurate and timely financial deliverables for client portfolio
Organize and prioritize team efforts to meet deadlines
Implement and maintain quality control procedures
Mentor and develop team members, including offshore staff
Partner with clients to understand their business needs and objectives
Communicate clear and timely with clients and colleagues
Drive process improvements and best practices implementation
Requirements Required Qualifications
5+ years accounting experience, preferably 2+ years public accounting experience at Big 4 or international firm
Proven track record managing remote/offshore teams
Strong project management and client communication skills
Love for details and high-quality work
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Preferred Qualifications
CPA or MBA
Experience with tech and SaaS companies
Experience with GAAP audits and multi-entity accounting
Experience with cloud accounting platforms, automation tools, Excel, and Google Suite
