About SpendHound:
SpendHound is a free software renewal management platform and service launched by YipitData. It provides a single source of truth for companies’ renewal information, including contract values, renewal dates, license counts, and more. The platform offers invoice and contract management, renewal reminders via email and Slack, and free procurement‑expert advice on price benchmarking and negotiation strategies.
SpendHound remains free because customer data is de‑identified and aggregated for YipitData’s market research.
The Role:
We are seeking a Mid‑Market Sales Development Representative to drive outbound client engagement for SpendHound’s products within the spend management space.
Responsibilities
Break into a new vertical, creatively prospecting to engage stakeholders at all levels of large businesses.
Utilize outbound sales skills across cold calling, cold emailing, LinkedIn messages, and more.
Generate interest and meetings with Finance, Procurement, and IT leaders for a product that helps them save time and money on software renewals.
Develop proficiency with modern sales tools such as Apollo, Orum, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo.
Collaborate closely with the Enterprise Sales Development Manager, Enablement Manager, and Head of Sales to refine messaging and improve outreach.
Support continuous improvement of sales messaging and outreach tactics.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in a high‑velocity SDR/BDR role.
Experience selling to U.S. prospects for a U.S.‑based tech company, with a strong focus on cold calling.
A proven track record of not only meeting but exceeding targets.
Empathetic, strong interpersonal skills, and high emotional intelligence.
Highly self‑motivated, proactive, and skilful with time management.
Resilient with a willingness to handle rejection and use grit.
Resourceful, always seeking new ways to open doors.
Coachable and eager to learn.
Positive outlook and sound judgment in new situations.

Compensation : Annual salary up to $65,000 OTE ($50,000 base + $15,000 bonus potential). Final offer based on experience, skills, and internal benchmarks.
Location Policy : Fully remote within the United States is acceptable. Income may be subject to New York State tax withholding depending on work location. Our headquarters remain in NYC.
