Why TrueAccord? TrueAccord, a wholly owned subsidiary of TrueML, is a category-defining company. We combine machine learning with a human-based approach to transform debt resolution and to get people on the path towards financial health. Every year, more than 70 million Americans have negative experiences dealing with debt. We are changing this by providing personalized digital experiences that guide lenders and consumers through this challenging financial process.
With a world-class leadership team, passionate team members, and proprietary predictive models trained on years worth of transactional data, TrueAccord is well-positioned to deliver on a huge opportunity: helping millions of consumers to regain and keep their financial footing while lowering the cost of doing business for creditors across many industries.
As the
Senior Strategic Analyst, Collections Performance , at TrueAccord you aren’t a reporting analyst—you are a Performance Operator. Your mission is to own the "truth" behind our collections performance, diagnosing the deep-rooted drivers of liquidation and engagement across our product and strategy layers. This is a role for a high-influence leader who can navigate ambiguity, challenge underperforming narratives with evidence, and drive measurable outcomes across the entire platform.
What You'll Do:
Own the Root Cause:
Lead the "detective work" required to diagnose performance shifts. You will distinguish between market conditions and internal strategy drivers, prioritizing high-impact problems for immediate resolution.
Drive Decisive Strategy:
Design and execute sophisticated A/B and multivariate tests tied directly to recovery. You won’t just share insights; you’ll ensure those experiments result in concrete implementation and strategy changes.
Influence the Product Roadmap:
Identify the technical gaps or logic errors impacting performance and translate them into actionable requirements for our Product and Engineering teams.
Empower Client Success:
Arm our Client Managers with sharp, defensible recommendations. You will be the authoritative voice in high-stakes client conversations when performance is at risk.
Foster Cross-Functional Accountability:
Act as the "source of truth" for the organization, driving alignment between Data Science, Product, and Client Management to ensure performance risks are addressed immediately.
Scale Through Frameworks:
Build the repeatable diagnostic frameworks and Looker dashboards that allow our performance insights to scale as we grow.
Navigate Without Authority:
Influence outcomes across teams where you may not have formal authority, using your data and strategic vision to force clarity and correct underperforming strategies.
Who You Are:
A Collections Strategy Expert:
You bring
8+ years of experience
in Collections Analytics or Debt Recovery. You have a deep, intuitive understanding of liquidation curves, recovery math, and digital engagement metrics.
A SQL Power User:
You have expert-level SQL skills and are comfortable navigating complex, multi-layered data schemas to build optimized datasets.
AI-Literate:
You are already leveraging GenAI tools (like ChatGPT Code Interpreter or Claude) to accelerate your analysis and sharpen your insights.
A Statistical Thinker:
You have a firm grasp of experimental design and statistical significance, ensuring every test we run is built on a solid foundation.
An Elite Communicator:
You can take a 50-tab spreadsheet and distill it into three bullet points that an executive or a bank auditor can act on with total confidence.
Technically Proficient:
You are a pro with visualization tools (preferably
Looker , but Tableau or similar works) and are comfortable working within a Mac/G-Suite environment.
Quantitatively Grounded:
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Math, Finance, Economics, or Data Science) or have equivalent practical experience in a high-stakes analytical role.
