IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR : Controller/Director of Finance DEPARTMENT : Finance LOCATION : Remote FLSA : Non-Exempt
General Summary The Senior Accountant plays a key role in maintaining the financial integrity of the organization. This position is responsible for overseeing core accounting functions, supporting monthly and annual close processes, ensuring compliance with nonprofit accounting standards, and providing guidance to staff. This role requires strong technical accounting skills, attention to detail, and experience in a nonprofit or mission-driven environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform and review monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
Maintain general ledger accuracy in accordance with GAAP and nonprofit accounting standards
Assist in the preparation of the annual operating budget
Monitor budget-to-actual results and investigate variances
Coordinate schedules and documentation for annual external audits
Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures
Support implementation of process improvements and system enhancements
Provide guidance and mentoring to junior accounting staff
Serve as a backup for key accounting functions such as AP and AR, as needed
Collaborate with program managers and other departments on financial matters
Job Requirements Education and Work Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (required)
5–8 years of progressive accounting experience
Prior nonprofit accounting experience strongly preferred
Experience with organizations with annual budgets of greater than $15M a plus
CPA or CPA candidates preferred but not required
Strong knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit accounting standards
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage Intacct, GP Dynamics, or similar)
Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and formulas
Ability to travel as needed to conferences, business meetings and trainings (less than 10%)

General Summary The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for the development and execution of innovative social media strategies designed to elevate ISPE's brand visibility, foster audience engagement, and drive lead generation across ISPE's social media channels.
This role requires a strong understanding of social media platforms, content creation, video production, and analytics. The Social Media Coordinator will be integral to the development and execution of omnichannel social media marketing campaigns, including both organic and paid social media initiatives, while ensuring consistency throughout ISPE's social presence and maintaining brand continuity in all digital marketing efforts.
The Social Media Coordinator position will require a creative thinker with a passion for digital marketing, a keen eye for detail, and a data driven perspective to implement effective marketing strategies and processes for all responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with ISPE's overall marketing goals.
Content Creation:
Develop and execute a robust content calendar, producing high-quality, engaging content tailored to each social media platform, including text, images, and videos. Contribute to ISPE's overall digital content strategy by writing and editing engaging copy for social media, blogs, e-newsletters, web pages, and other digital communications.
Video Production:
Conceptualize and assist in producing high-quality videos tailored to various platforms, including but not limited to social media, ISPE.org, ISPEFoundation.org, conferences, etc. to elevate ISPE's brand and engage the audience.
Platform Management:
Actively manage and optimize ISPE's social media accounts (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, etc.) to ensure a consistent brand voice and style.
Campaign Execution:
Develop and execute comprehensive social media campaigns to drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation through organic and paid social media initiatives.
Community Engagement:
Foster a vibrant online community by actively monitoring social media channels and respond promptly to messages.
Data-Driven Insights:
Leverage data analytics to establish KPIs and track campaign performance. Use these insights to identify trends, optimize strategies, and make data-driven decisions to maximize campaign effectiveness.
Brand Consistency:
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency across all digital channels, upholding ISPE's brand identity and messaging.
Industry Trend Analysis:
Stay abreast of the latest social media trends, platform updates, and industry best practices to optimize strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

Job Requirements Education and Work Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years' experience in executing paid and organic social media marketing campaigns with specific knowledge in, but not limited to LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn Ads, and Meta Ad Manager.
Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., HubSpot, Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.).
Experience with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop).
Experience leveraging social media management and analytical tools to inform and improve campaign strategy.
General understanding of SEO and SEM best practices.
Experience in creating and testing new approaches for promoting products and services, including formal A/B testing.
