The Higher Education Solutions (HES) sales team sells Yamaha musical instruments and audio products (and affiliated brands) to colleges and universities throughout the U.S. With a broad portfolio of products including Pianos, Percussion, Winds & Stringed instruments, Guitars, and Pro Audio products, this sales team serves the Higher Education vertical market. The District Manager spends the majority of time on college campuses or at educator conferences to represent Yamaha and find solutions that support each campus’s strategic initiatives. Purpose of Role The District Manager will successfully execute an annual territory sales plan while maintaining a long-term relationship selling approach. Represent the company, products, and brand at trade shows and other business events. Location This is a remote position located in the Central Region. The candidate must live in their territory, which includes IA, IL, MN, MO, NE, ND, SD and WI, with 75% travel, including visits to our US headquarters in Buena Park, CA.
