You'll be the most technically capable person in the room for our most complex client environments — designing cloud and infrastructure solutions, running down hard problems, and consulting directly with decision-makers.
You'll mentor junior engineers, represent Squeeze on-site with clients across Orange County, LA and the whole USA, and contribute to how we architect and deliver services at scale.

*What you'll be doing:*
* Architect, deploy, and manage complex Azure environments including Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) for enterprise clients
* Own advanced networking — design, troubleshoot, and optimize LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, firewall, and DNS configurations
* Lead security posture work: endpoint protection, conditional access, identity management, compliance frameworks, and incident response
* Troubleshoot and support SQL-based systems — query performance, connectivity issues, backup and recovery
* Serve as the technical escalation point for the support team — the person who unblocks everyone else
* Consult directly with client stakeholders on infrastructure strategy, cloud migration, and security planning
* Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, review their work, and help them grow faster
* Contribute to how Squeeze designs and packages its service offerings as the business evolves
*What we're looking for:*
* Bachelor's degree recommended, stand out if it's in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
* 5+ years in a senior IT engineering or infrastructure role, ideally in an MSP or consulting environment
* Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure — AVD, Entra ID, Intune, Defender, and related services
* Advanced networking knowledge: routing, switching, firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, or similar), DNS, DHCP, SD-WAN
* Practical experience with security frameworks, zero-trust principles, and compliance (HIPAA, SOC 2, or similar is a plus)
* Familiarity with Modern LLM/AI Tools such as Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot in a business setting.
* SQL troubleshooting skills — not a DBA, but you know your way around a query and can diagnose database-adjacent issues
* Excellent communicator — equally comfortable in a technical deep-dive and a client boardroom
* Self-directed, calm under pressure, and the kind of engineer who documents what they build
* Reliable car for regular client site visits across Orange County and LA

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
