Senior Strategic Procurement Program Manager Remote, USA
Omada Health is on a mission to inspire and engage people in lifelong health, one step at a time.
Job overview:
The Supply Chain Program Management, Senior Program Manager reports to the Senior Director of Global Supply Chain and is a member of the cross-functional Care Team Leads in Care Delivery. The Senior Program Manager is a subject‑matter expert who defines and drives supply chain and strategic procurement objectives that materially impact Omada’s gross margin, member experience, and risk profile. The role operates across Member Services, Care Teams, Clinical, Product, Engineering, Compliance, Legal, InfoSec, and Commercial, as well as with external vendors, to design and execute end‑to‑end sourcing and supplier strategies for GLP‑1 and other critical categories. This candidate regularly works on ambiguous, cross‑functional problems, applying advanced judgment to bring structure, develop options, and drive alignment on recommended paths forward. Work includes both strategic design and hands‑on execution, from developing multi‑year roadmaps to leading complex RFPs and supplier transitions. The role requires strong executive‑ready communication, the ability to influence director/VP stakeholders without formal authority, and ownership for setting clear success measures, tracking performance, and adjusting plans to achieve multi‑year outcomes.
Your Impact: Management of Strategic Roadmap
Owns and continuously refines program governance for both operational (“run‑the‑business”) and strategic initiatives, including project/program charters, governance plans, schedules, success criteria, and milestones across multiple work‑streams.
Establishes and sequences business priorities across categories and programs; develops solutions, assigns clear ownership, sets delivery/completion dates, and designs mechanisms to ensure programs remain on track with minimal to no guidance.
Drives programs end to end and independently recommends and implements changes to policies and procedures that affect multiple departments or disciplines across Omada.
Proactively exercises advanced judgment in evaluating, selecting, and adapting methods to achieve results that support company‑wide strategic initiatives (e.g., supply chain, clinical, product, member experience, and financial goals).
Deeply understands the interrelationships between supply chain, clinical, product, operations, and commercial priorities, and builds strong partnerships with key contacts outside of Supply Chain, both internally and with external vendors/partners.
Anticipates bottlenecks early, provides clear escalation paths, and prepares succinct tradeoff recommendations that balance business needs versus constraints at the portfolio level.
Communication and change management initiatives
Communicates clear, concise expectations and requirements in both verbal and written form, applying advanced functional knowledge and context when partnering with senior stakeholders and external suppliers.
Presents well‑reasoned, data‑driven proposals and recommendations that influence director/VP‑level decisions and align cross‑functional stakeholders around supply chain and procurement strategies.
Independently identifies and communicates risks and mitigation plans, socializes scenarios with stakeholders, and maintains clear goals, milestones, and completion dates for complex programs.
Influences others to drive ongoing program improvements based on specific feedback, performance measurements, and retrospective learnings, ensuring changes are adopted and sustained.
Utilizes strong written and verbal communication skills to author high‑quality strategy documents, executive updates, and reports that translate technical and data‑heavy insights into clear, actionable recommendations for diverse audiences.
Handles confidential and sensitive information with extreme discretion and models best practices for communication and information sharing within the organization.
Data analysis
Analyzes operational, financial, and supplier data to evaluate existing processes, identify opportunities for improvement, scope projects, propose solutions, and articulate expected results and tradeoffs.
Independently identifies process and system improvement opportunities by monitoring existing metrics, defining and implementing new metrics, analyzing trends, and partnering with internal teams to drive measurable impact on cost, quality, risk, and service levels.
Is highly proficient at developing business insights from complex datasets and custom metrics/attributes, and uses those insights to shape strategic decisions, build business cases, and prioritize initiatives across the supply chain and procurement portfolio.
About you: You are passionate about Omada’s mission to inspire and engage lifelong health one day at a time and our products that help members who are living with pre‑diabetes, diabetes, hypertension or musculoskeletal issues. You bring your whole self to work every day with a strategic, data‑driven, and systems‑thinking mindset, and you’re excited to build and refine bar‑raising strategic sourcing and procurement practices, processes, and protocols. You’re comfortable owning complex, ambiguous problems end to end—from framing the question and analyzing spend, to designing category strategies, running RFPs, negotiating contracts, and operationalizing supplier performance management. You flex easily across different work‑streams, such as vendor onboarding, device and pharmacy category strategy, cost and risk reduction initiatives, business reviews, continuous improvement efforts, and cross‑functional launches. You thrive in a cross‑functional environment, partnering with Clinical, Product, Engineering, Care Teams, Member Services, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and InfoSec, and you use clear, structured communication to drive alignment, influence without authority, and deliver measurable business impact.
Bonus Points for:
Experience with end‑to‑end supply chain planning (demand/supply planning, inventory policies, lead time/risk management) in addition to strategic sourcing and contract negotiations.
Experience in a digital health, payer, provider, or health tech environment and an understanding of how supply, cost, and risk decisions directly impact member/patient experience and clinical operations.
Comfortable working with data and BI tools (beyond spreadsheets) to build dashboards, analyze trends, and communicate performance—e.g., using Tableau or similar to track cost, risk, and supplier KPIs.
Applied Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methods to simplify and automate supply chain or procurement workflows, reducing cycle time, defects, and manual effort, and may hold relevant credentials such as CPSM, CSCP, or Lean/Six Sigma certifications.
Experience managing sourcing and purchasing of non‑production goods and services.
