Job Summary Leads a team focused on HR compliance, policy and global processes. You will lead and ensure the organization follows HR regulatory requirements by ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations. Process owner for all global process including talent evaluation, performance reviews, merit/promotion process and employee engagement surveys. Responsible for ensuring timely resolution to HR inquiries received from employees and outside parties. Responsible for global Leave of Absence processes. Oversee see a small team of HR Generalists as well as HR Coordinator/Office Administration team.
What Your Impact Will Look Like This person will be responsible for human resource compliance.
As a leader, championing change, drive a high-performance culture in support of the overall Granicus vision and pro-actively contribute to development of the HR strategy and objectives.
You will ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations and oversee federal state and local compliance with laws pertaining to employment including Work Authorization and Immigration, Employment Posters, Affluent Action, EEO and Vets Reporting
Updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines following all applicable laws and regulations for HR related governance. Responsible for coordinating annual employee handbook and policy updates with SMEs.
Oversees global Leave Administration including STD, LTD, parental leave and FMLA
Handles and submits workers compensation and unemployment claims.
Ensures all employment posters, where applicable, are maintained online.
Oversight for security and compliance audits and resources as needed from within the HR team
Advise management on necessary actions in alignment with current employment law requirements; provide guidance and training to staff as needed.
Stay up to date on changing employment regulations and implement policies, procedures, and systems by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, to reduce the organization’s risks.
Oversees office team processes including stationary supplies, seating charts, visitor bookings, catering arrangements, office mail and shipments, general maintenance etc
Oversees the timely completion and accuracy of compliance requirements such as EEO-1, VEVRA, Vets 100a reports, Affluent Action Plan, state reporting requirements (e.g. California, Minnesota) and others as needed.
Act as primary liaison between immigration attorney and employees during the immigration process. Provide oversight on all immigration matters. Coordinating with the HRBPs within the client groups to process work authorizations as needed.
Responsible for the input, implementation, and identification of problem areas for HR transactions and service delivery processes
Maintains the People Assist (HR Shared Services ticketing system) within UKG
Maintains HR Intranet for related global processes.
Responsible for the maintenance and set up of SecureSheet, the platform used for global merit/promotion/bonus processing and Talent Evaluations. Partners closely with HR Operations and Payroll teams.
Responsible for project managing global processes working closely with HR Operations, HR Business Partnering, L&D and Engagement teams on training and communications.
Responsible for process improvement, including evaluating existing systems and procedures, providing recommendations for changes and improvements, and implementing changes.
Leads a team of HR Generalists and HR Coordinators
Leads a team of Office Administration staff in various offices (Tucson, Denver, Washington DC)
You Will Love This Job If You Have
Minimum (8) eight years’ experience in human resources, human capital consulting or related supporting a global organization
BA/BS degree in Human Resources or business equivalent
Sound knowledge of local labor laws and government requirements, policy development and related laws and regulations
Thorough understanding and affinity to data, technology, and customer service
Strong internal customer focus and relationship skills with a flexible communication style
Consistent ability to apply solid judgement ensuring integrity, compliance, and confidentiality
Outstanding facilitation, collaboration, and project management skills; detail orientation and multitasking skills
Experience in a role requiring independent decision-making and management of conflicting priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
A passion for leading and driving agile, service focused, business-aligned high performing global human resource teams
