InMobi’s Business Analytics & Insights (BA&I) team drives data‑driven decision making across the organization. As a Lead Analyst you partner with senior business leaders across sales, marketing, and operations to uncover opportunities through data.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and execution of analytical projects to solve high‑priority business problems.
Translate complex data into simple, actionable insights for business stakeholders and leadership.
Conduct deep‑dive analyses to identify performance drivers, trends, and optimization opportunities.
Build and automate dashboards, scorecards, and KPI frameworks to track business health.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (GTM, Product, Operations) to define success metrics and analytical needs.
Proactively identify areas of improvement across revenue growth, efficiency, and customer engagement.
Provide analytical leadership in quarterly and annual business planning cycles.
Partner with engineering and data platform teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and governed data availability.
Drive automation of recurring reports and analyses to enable self‑serve analytics.
Leverage modern BI tools (Power BI, Looker) and advanced analytics platforms (GCP, Databricks) for insights generation.
Adopt an AI‑first approach in every aspect of the analytical lifecycle – from data extraction, report generation, metric tracking, and processing to insight generation and storytelling.
Develop reusable analytical templates, workflows, and pipelines using Python, SQL, and cloud‑native tools (e.g., Databricks, GCP, Power BI).
Partner with AI engineering teams to automate analytical workflows by 50‑60 %.
Mentor a team of analysts to develop their technical and business problem‑solving skills.
Establish best practices for analysis, visualization, and storytelling across the BA&I function and foster a data‑first culture.
Qualifications
Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
5‑8 years of proven experience as a Data Analyst within a tech/consulting/analytics organization, preferably in ad‑tech or digital advertising.
Experience working with cloud data warehouses (GCP, Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks).
Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python (or R) for data analysis and modelling.
Strong knowledge of BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
Demonstrated development and implementation of at least three end‑to‑end analytics solutions that translate business problems into data analytics solutions.
Experience within the AdTech industry and/or with GTM units is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience applying AI & automation to reporting, forecasting, or analytical workflows.
Exposure to agentic BI or conversational analytics frameworks.
