About the Role As a Resource Intern, you are not just supporting our work, you are a vital part of our mission. Our interns meaningfully shape the accuracy, reach, and impact of the InReach platform, and we recognize and deeply value the time, expertise, and lived experience each intern brings to our community.
The role focuses on supporting LGBTQ+ families, young people, asylum seekers, refugees, and TGNC people, through resource verification, data entry, and outreach.
LGBTQ+ families fleeing hostile states → safe relocation assistance, mental health support for caregivers, and gender‑affirming care.
LGBTQ+ young people experiencing isolation and housing insecurity → safe housing, meal assistance, hygiene resources, drop‑in centers, and affirming community support.
LGBTQ+ asylum seekers, refugees, and other immigrants → verified affirming legal services, trauma‑informed mental health care, and translation support.
TGNC people → gender‑affirming healthcare, support groups, legal aid, safe housing, and more.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in LGBTQ+ rights, trans and immigrant justice, and human rights work while helping expand the reach of a vital technology platform.
