We are seeking a highly experienced Solar Systems and Energy Storage Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in development of DG solar and energy storage projects, with experience in land deals, permitting, interconnection, project modeling, and budgets along with completing development tasks to NTP. This role will be instrumental in driving the development and execution of our renewable energy projects across the U.S. Key Responsibilities
Understanding and determining the development tasks needed to be completed for a project to be NTP ready. Complete development tasks of solar and energy storage projects to completion by deadline and within budget. Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including landowners, regulatory agencies, utilities, vendors, and IPPs. Provide technical and strategic guidance to project teams. Prepare and present project reports to senior management and stakeholders. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or related field. Advanced degrees are preferred. Minimum 5+ years of experience in solar and energy storage project development. Transmission Solar and Energy Storage Systems experience. Proven track record of managing DG-scale projects. Extensive experience with land deals, permitting, interconnection, modeling, and budget planning. Solid experience in getting projects to NTP ready. Strong understanding of the regulatory environment and market dynamics in the renewable energy sector is essential. Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively. Willingness to travel as needed for permitting. Desired Qualifications
