As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer on the CAT team, you will design, build, test, and own systems for servicing 401(k) plans, delivering reliable, observable, maintainable, and scalable software.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain user experiences for external and internal customers
Develop business-critical, foundational services that serve as the data funnel of our platform
Improve complex processes and systems to be more robust and require less human intervention
Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to share knowledge and build expertise
Own domains in our system and make informed engineering tradeoffs
Advocate for and delight internal and external users
Write clean, high-quality code and tests to keep systems fast, reliable, and monitorable
Lead and participate in development life cycle activities (design, coding, testing, production release)
Contribute to evolving engineering standards, tooling, and processes
What you bring to the role
6+ years of experience building and maintaining software in production
Desire to work with Node, TypeScript, React, AWS and PostgreSQL
Strong communication skills with engineers and non-engineers
Desire to learn, think creatively, and share knowledge
Experience mentoring engineers and thoroughly reviewing code
Proactive and empathetic mindset; you enjoy solving problems for customers
Past experience in startups and/or fintech
