Summary:
The Salesforce Operations Specialist will be responsible for the administration, optimization, and ongoing support of the Salesforce platform at UVVC. This role will ensure data integrity, generate actionable insights through data analysis and reporting, and support cross-departmental workflows. The ideal candidate will blend technical expertise with process-oriented thinking to enhance user experience, streamline operations, and drive organizational efficiency through Salesforce.
Responsibilities:
Salesforce Administration
User management: create roles, profiles, permission sets System configuration: objects, fields, layouts, validation rules, automations (flows/process builder) Data imports/exports and deduplication Security settings, sandbox management Troubleshoot user issues and provide user support Integrate apps and manage platform updates
Salesforce Reporting/Analyst
Build standard and custom reports and dashboards Monitor business KPIs and performance metrics Partner with business units to deliver insights Ensure data accuracy and integrity in reporting Translate business questions into data-driven answers
Salesforce Operations Support
Support sales/marketing/customer service teams with process setup and tools in Salesforce Run and distribute regular reports or dashboards Manage user requests and assist with light configuration Support forecasting, pipeline management, and territory planning Help enforce data governance and process consistency Liaise between business teams and technical admins/developers Demonstrate and promote a work culture committed to UVVC’s Core Values: Understanding, Nurturing, Ingenuity, Trust, Excellence, and Diversity. Demonstrate behaviors that are consistent with UVVC’s Standards of Conduct as outlined in our Employee Handbook. Maintain the confidentiality and security of Protected Health Information (PHI) in accordance with UVVC policies, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and other applicable laws and regulations. PHI is a top priority of our organization. Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Salesforce Admin certification preferred Working knowledge of Salesforce platform configuration and automations Familiarity with Salesforce security model Strong analytical and Excel skills Deep understanding of Salesforce reporting features Able to use tools such as CRM Analytics (formerly Einstein), Tableau, Power BI Cross-functional understanding of business processes Proficient in both Salesforce admin and reporting Business-oriented Highly dependable; able to meet reliable attendance and punctuality standards.
