Contract SME & Content Editor for Dev Tools & Cloud Infrastructure We are seeking subject‑matter experts with hands‑on experience in developer tools and cloud infrastructure marketing to ensure our content accurately reflects how practitioners think, buy, and speak. The role focuses on credibility, accuracy, and resonance rather than grammar.
What You'll Do
Review, fact‑check, and edit AI‑assisted and human‑written drafts for technical accuracy and buyer authenticity, flagging details only a developer marketing professional would know.
Push back on passages that do not reflect how developers think or speak, and rewrite them to improve resonance.
Create stronger angles, examples, use‑cases, and proof points grounded in how technical buyers evaluate and purchase software.
Ensure content connects product value to real pain points rather than surface‑level keyword coverage.
Collaborate asynchronously with the editorial team to elevate drafts from competent to genuinely credible.
What We're Looking For
Deep, hands‑on developer content marketing experience – product marketer, solutions engineer, practitioner, content manager, or industry analyst.
Ability to distinguish content that sounds right from content that is right for a developer audience and articulate why it does or does not land.
Fluency in how developers think, what they care about, and what builds trust.
Skill in spotting misrepresentations of concepts such as CI/CD pipelines, feature flagging, API design, or containerization.
Strong editorial instincts: specific, actionable edits rather than vague suggestions.
Comfortable working asynchronously, meeting deadlines, and communicating clearly in a remote environment.
Bonus: familiarity with SEO, content strategy, or LLM‑driven content workflows.
