The Associate Director of DevOps Engineering leads Mainframe DevOps, Salesforce DevOps, engineering tools, and centralized DevOps support. The role focuses on improving CI/CD, modernizing platforms, strengthening governance and security, and enabling developers with efficient, scalable tooling.
Key Responsibilities
Lead DevOps teams and align work with enterprise engineering goals
Improve CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and DevOps standards
Manage and mentor cross functional engineering teams
Oversee DevOps platforms (Copado, ISPW) and tool lifecycle management
Drive modernization for Mainframe and Salesforce environments
Lead AI adoption across DevOps workflows
Manage developer tools, onboarding, and enablement
Optimize licensing, costs, and vendor relationships
Partner with security and compliance teams on remediation and access controls
Maintain dashboards, metrics, and documentation
Serve as escalation point for DevOps tooling and incidents
Required Qualifications
10+ years in DevOps/SRE/app engineering; 3+ years leadership
Expertise in Mainframe + Salesforce DevOps and CI/CD automation
Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, Copado, ISPW, SonarQube
Strong governance, compliance, and toolchain management skills
Excellent communication, leadership, and data driven decision making
Preferred
AI driven DevOps experience
Cost optimization and vendor negotiation
Large scale modernization project experience
