Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic, driven, and student-focused professional to join our Admissions team. In this role, you will serve as a key ambassador for our institution, guiding prospective students through the decision-making and enrollment process. Your primary objective is to increase student enrollment by building meaningful relationships, delivering clear and compelling information, and providing an exceptional candidate experience from first inquiry through program start.
Key Responsibilities
- Enrollment & Recruitment * Achieve or exceed enrollment targets by effectively converting prospective leads into enrolled students * Maintain consistent follow-up and engagement with prospective students to move them through the admissions funnel * Build and manage a pipeline of qualified candidates
- Communication & Candidate Experience * Communicate clearly, professionally, and persuasively across phone, email, text, and in-person interactions * Provide timely and accurate information regarding programs, admissions requirements, tuition, and financial aid * Actively listen to prospective students' goals and concerns, offering tailored guidance and solutions * Submit daily reports to leadership summarizing activity, outcomes, and next-day plans
- Outreach & Relationship Building * Conduct outreach through calls, emails, text messaging, virtual meetings, and on-campus appointments * Maintain ongoing communication with prospective, current, and former students * Develop relationships that encourage referrals and repeat engagement
- Marketing & Lead Generation * Support and optimize marketing initiatives to attract qualified applicants * Monitor engagement across channels including website, social media, and events * Participate in student presentations, career fairs, and community outreach efforts
- Referrals & Personally Developed Leads (PDLs) * Actively generate referrals from prospective and current students * Collaborate with leadership to implement strategies that increase referral volume and quality * Reinforce referral opportunities during key student touchpoints, including early check-ins
- Retention-Focused Admissions * Identify and enroll candidates who are well-positioned for academic success * Set clear expectations to support long-term student retention and outcomes
- Admissions Process Management * Evaluate and improve admissions workflows, including communication cadence and automation * Ensure a smooth, efficient, and positive experience for all applicants
- Data Tracking & Reporting * Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to admissions and enrollment * Analyze trends and adjust strategies based on data insights * Meet regularly with leadership to review performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- High School Outreach Program * Manage and nurture high school inquiries throughout the year * Coordinate and host events with students, counselors, and school leaders * Build relationships with guidance counselors to expand institutional visibility
- Compliance & Documentation * Ensure all admissions practices align with regulatory and ethical standards * Maintain transparency, accuracy, and integrity in all communications * Collect and verify all required enrollment documentation at least one week prior to program start (e.g., diploma/GED, medical forms, immunizations)
- Future Start Engagement * Maintain consistent communication with future-start students * Provide support and encouragement to increase program start rates and student preparedness

Compensation & Benefits * Hourly Rate: $25$28 per hour (based on experience) * Paid Time Off: 3 weeks of PTO annually
Work Schedule * Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:30 AM 5:00 PM * Tuesday & Thursday: 10:30 AM 7:00 PM (to accommodate evening program candidates)
