Drive sales growth and profitability for a corrugated packaging facility by managing sales initiatives, overseeing the sales team, and cultivating strong customer relationships. Develop and execute sales strategies to meet volume, product mix, and profitability goals. Monitor market trends and recommend adjustments to products, personnel, and equipment. Lead and support the sales team by recruiting, training, and motivating team members. Maintain relationships with key customers and oversee credit management. Prepare and manage the annual sales budget. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Five or more years of experience in the corrugated packaging industry. Five or more years in sales and supervisory roles. Strong understanding of profit/loss analysis, estimating, and sales metrics. Proven leadership, team-building, and problem-solving abilities. College degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Effective communication and presentation skills. Ability to analyze data, calculate pricing, and track key performance indicators. Strong decision-making and crisis management skills. Combination of office and manufacturing settings, as well as frequent visits to customer sites. Achieve or exceed sales and customer service benchmarks. Foster team development and maintain a positive work environment. Drive innovative ideas to support business growth.
