Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance with multiple plans to fit your needs Single person pays 0% up to 2% of gross income o Entire family pays 0% up to 4% of gross income 401(k) – 100% match up to 5% of employee contributions Company-paid life insurance Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Schedule and assign tasks for dock planning and setup Observe loading and unloading of trucks for proper handling and distribution of freight while ensuring timely delivery Supervise operations, procedures, and freight movement Enforce all safety measures regarding freight balance for safe truck operation Ensure compliance with administrative policies, procedures, safety rules, and government regulations Train new dock employees and provide feedback, coaching, and discipline as needed in partnership with the Operations Manager Create and maintain a teamwork-oriented environment Coordinate drivers and assign trucks and delivery routes Maintain equipment and facilities for effective, clean, and safe operations Perform other duties as assigned Skills, Experience, and Educational Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in LTL freight, logistics, or transportation 2 years of freight handling experience; LTL environment preferred Proven leadership, team-building, and interpersonal skills Good computer skills (AS/400 and Microsoft Office preferred) Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills Knowledge of hazardous materials preferred Strong work ethic and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Ability to work under tight time constraints in a high-volume environment with multiple priorities High school diploma or GED equivalent strongly preferred Previous warehouse or related experience strongly preferred Forklift experience required Basic English proficiency (reading, writing, and verbal) required OHFL is an equal opportunity employer.
