PL/SQL Backend Developer / Programmer Analyst
for a long-term Contract-to-Hire opportunity with a major utility client in Houston, TX. This role will support a mission-critical enterprise application and requires strong backend development and production support experience. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment and supporting occasional evening/weekend deployments during critical business operations. Required Skills: Oracle PL/SQL Backend Development .NET / C# Web Services (SOAP/XML) Production Support MS SQL Server ASP.NET Visual Studio Preferred Skills: Linux Utility/Energy domain experience Service Suite Work Order System SharePoint / SOA / FileNet Responsibilities: Develop and support enterprise backend applications Perform production support and issue resolution Handle deployments, testing, and maintenance activities Coordinate with Infrastructure, DBA, and Operations teams Support off-hours rollouts when required Create technical and change management documentation Experience Required: 5–10+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL and backend application development Strong troubleshooting and production support skills Experience with .NET technologies and web services Ability to work independently in high-pressure environments
