Über
As a Physical Therapist with PruittHealth, you will perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations, including strength, range of motion, balance, gait, and functional mobility assessments, and document your findings thoroughly in the electronic medical record. You will design and implement customized treatment programs involving therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, balance and gait training, manual therapy, and patient and family education. You will educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, safe mobility techniques, fall prevention, and the proper use of assistive devices such as walkers, canes, and wheelchairs, supporting safe transitions across levels of care.
You will collaborate daily with the care team to coordinate services, adjust care plans based on clinical findings, and participate in care conferences to discuss progress and discharge planning. You will be responsible for timely, accurate documentation that meets regulatory, payer, and organizational standards, while maintaining compliance with all state practice regulations, professional guidelines, and PruittHealth policies. You will also help support quality improvement initiatives, contribute to outcome tracking, and uphold infection prevention and safety protocols.
