About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable
Floor Care Technician
to join our mobile maintenance team. You won't just be cleaning floors; you'll be the person responsible for preserving the first impression of our building. From high-gloss lobbies to sanitized workspaces, your work ensures a safe and professional environment for everyone.
Key Responsibilities Surface Maintenance:
Perform specialized floor care including stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing hard surfaces (VCT, tile, marble, etc.). Carpet Care:
Operate industrial extractors and shampooers for deep-cleaning carpets. Equipment Mastery:
Safely operate and maintain heavy machinery such as auto-scrubbers, burnishers, and pressure washers. Chemical Safety:
Mix and apply cleaning solutions according to MSDS guidelines and safety protocols. Routine Upkeep:
Execute daily sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming in high-traffic areas. Safety First:
Set up "Wet Floor" signage and follow all OSHA safety standards to prevent slips and falls. What You Bring to the Table
Experience:
At least [1 year] of experience in professional floor care or commercial cleaning (preferred). Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Technical Skill:
Familiarity with various floor types and the specific chemicals/pads required for each. Reliability:
A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently during off-peak hours. Attention to Detail:
You're the type of person who notices a scuff mark from across the room and knows exactly how to fix it.
