This individual will take ownership of the full delivery lifecycle, from requirements gathering through deployment and handoff, ensuring solutions are well‑built, well‑documented, and operationally sustainable. The role requires a strong builder mindset, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to turn ideas into execution.
Location:
This role will be hybrid out of our Vienna, VA office and will be expected in office Tu‑Th.
Responsibilities
Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and align on success criteria
Design, build, configure, and deploy solutions using Microsoft 365 and the Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, SharePoint, Teams)
Support system integrations across enterprise platforms (e.g., M365, Bullhorn, Paylocity, Costpoint, TechnoMile, DataRails) using APIs and connectors
Execute end‑to‑end delivery including requirements, design, build, testing, training, and deployment
Develop documentation, runbooks, and training materials to support adoption and long‑term ownership
Identify, evaluate, and implement AI and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency
Build workflows and automation across business functions including recruiting, HR, finance, contracts, and IT
Support enterprise AI initiatives by translating use cases into working solutions
Stay current on emerging tools, particularly within the Microsoft ecosystem, and recommend adoption opportunities
Support Copilot enablement and broader AI adoption efforts across the organization
Evaluate third‑party tools and integrations to enhance the existing technology stack
Conduct proof‑of‑concept builds and technical feasibility assessments
Provide input on vendor selection and build vs. buy decisions
Partner closely with Technology leadership to execute on strategic priorities
Collaborate with IT Operations to ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and supportable
Engage business stakeholders throughout delivery to ensure alignment and adoption
Participate in governance processes, including change control and release management
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3–8 years of experience in solution engineering, systems integration, or technical consulting
Hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365, including Power Platform, SharePoint, and Teams
Experience building integrations using APIs, webhooks, or middleware tools
Exposure to AI tools and technologies, including practical applications (enterprise or self‑driven)
Qualifications
Strong proficiency with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI)
Working knowledge of APIs (REST, JSON, OAuth) and system integrations
Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
Ability to operate independently and drive work from concept through execution
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment with minimal direction
Strong communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non‑technical audiences
Strong documentation discipline and focus on building sustainable, transferable solutions
Preferred
Certifications such as PL‑900, PL‑400, AZ‑900, AI‑900, or MS‑900
Experience in staffing, consulting, or federal environments
