# # **Job Description**We are looking for a motivated **Data Engineer** to join our Nordic Business Intelligence function, working closely with other data engineers and BI developers across Denmark, Finland, Sweden, and Norway. Your main responsibility will be to design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines and data models that enable high-quality analytics across the Nordic region.You will translate business needs into robust data solutions and actively contribute to improving data quality, automation and overall platform maturity. Using your expertise in SQL, data warehousing principles, and Azure technologies, you will deliver well-structured, high-performing datasets and data products.Your role focuses on building and operating data pipelines (Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Synapse), creating solid data models, and supporting governed semantic layers that power a harmonized Nordic reporting landscape while still supporting country specific requirements. You will participate in Nordic Databricks initiatives and apply best practices in data quality, monitoring and version control. With an understanding of platform constraints, you evaluate options and deliver scalable solutions in close collaboration with the wider team.**To be successful in this role, you bring:*** Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience* 2+ years’ experience in Business Intelligence and/or Data Management* Strong stakeholder collaboration and requirements translation skills* Proactive, self-driven, and passionate about technology* Solid SQL and relational database knowledge. Knowledge in python is a plus.* Experience with Microsoft Azure (Databricks, Synapse, ADLS, ADF, semantic models)* Experience with BI tools* Familiarity with version control and CI/CD process such as DevOps, or agile methods* Excellent English; Swedish is a plus* Industry experience is beneficial but not required**What we offer**We welcome you to an exciting company with high goals and ambitions, which is constantly working to develop and challenge itself.
