Our full-time roles can be performed remotely. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with a dynamic team to meet certification goals and deadlines. Engage with payment processors to ensure platform certification. Translate specifications into actionable testing plans and requirements. Configure and interface with software and hardware devices. Design and execute comprehensive test scripts. Diagnose issues, troubleshoot errors, and conduct root cause analysis. Become a subject matter expert on FreedomPay products and the payment industry. Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. Adapt to the evolving landscape of payment systems and processing technology. Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams on bug tracking and resolution. Regularly report on certification status to relevant parties. Create and maintain detailed documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing. Job Requirements:
Experience with payment acquirers, issuers, or terminal vendors. Proficiency in testing tools, such as UL Brand Test Tool and ICC Test tools. Competence in working with relational databases. Ability to design test scenarios based on certification criteria. Familiarity with project tracking systems like Jira and Azure DevOps. Expertise in troubleshooting certification testing issues, including logs and device configuration. Experience in completing Certification project Intake forms. Ability to engage with various teams, including Development and QA. Comfortable interpreting technical specifications and compliance documents. Understanding of payment transaction flows and network protocols (ISO 8583, NFC). A track record of working independently as well as collaboratively. Experience in test case development, execution, and defect tracking. Knowledge of the global payment market, including APM and LPM. Hands-on experience testing on Android-based payment devices. Familiarity with payment industry practices and technologies, particularly EMV specifications. A meticulous eye for detail, strong technical proficiency, and creative problem-solving skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment. Preferred Experience:
Experience with Ingenico, Verifone, Axium, Castles, and other POI hardware. Experience using Azure DevOps, Confluence, MS Office, and SharePoint. Familiarity with Git for source control. Knowledge of encryption, cryptographic key management, and related security standards. Proven ability to lead Certification efforts from Intake to Approval.
