QA- Manual Tester

QA Analyst

Work Location: Vancouver, BC (5 days at office setting)

Responsibilities

-Manual test execution for complex new scenarios & features

• Review bugs/tasks from offshore testers before they get assigned to developers

• Follow up on high-priority and blocking issues.

• File high signal tasks that can be assigned directly to developers - Work very effectively with QA lead and rest of the QA team

• Follow up on important incremental changes and get it covered

• Provide weekly reports on tasks executed

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the testing domain

• Familiarity with testing life cycle processes, test case planning, test case designing and test execution

• Experimented in mobile application testing

• Expertise in end-to-end sanity, regression, smoke, and new feature testing

• Experience in test results and bug analysis

• Experience working in teams with offshore

onsite model

• Expertise in various defect management and test case management tools like Jira, Quality Center, TestRail, Bugzilla, etc., etc. Good communication and reporting skills
