Your Day as a Dietary Manager As the Full Time Dietary Manager at The Friendship Home in Audubon, IA, you will play a vital role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Dietary Department. Your responsibilities will include managing a team of food service employees, ensuring proper staffing levels, implementing nutrition guidelines, creating menus, and handling food ordering. Additionally, you will be in charge of maintaining storage areas, enforcing sanitation standards, and monitoring staff hygiene practices. To excel in the role of Full Time Dietary Manager at The Friendship Home in Audubon, IA, candidates should possess strong leadership skills to effectively manage a team in the Dietary Department. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Food Services Management and/or Long Term Care settings. While certification is not mandatory, a willingness to become certified if selected is essential. Proficiency in utilizing various software or tools related to menu planning, ordering, and inventory management is advantageous. Attention to detail, organizational abilities, and a passion for promoting nutrition and wellness are key attributes that will contribute to success in this position.
