With our Reno/Lake Tahoe location, we’re seeking a dynamic Sales Manager or Sales Director (depending on experience) with strong roots in the area, well-established relationships with its top hotels, resorts, and vendors, and the drive to turn connections into extraordinary events. Base pay range $70,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr Additional compensation types Commission Role The Role: This is your chance to make an immediate and visible impact in one of the country’s most breathtaking and versatile destinations. You’ll lead the charge on new business development, cultivate strategic client partnerships, and drive revenue growth through luxury group events, high-end incentive programs, and one-of-a-kind experiences that highlight the beauty of both Reno and Lake Tahoe. You’ll work closely with our General Manager, National Sales Team, and Local Operations to expand our reach and strengthen our position in this dynamic market. What you’ll do Prospect and close high-value corporate group business Build and nurture long-term relationships with hotels, resorts, partners, vendors, and clients Represent RMC at industry events, client meetings, and site visits Collaborate cross-functionally to develop tailored, unforgettable event solutions Develop winning proposals and lead compelling presentations Hit (and exceed!) sales targets while developing business opportunities A natural connector, storyteller, sales leader, and closer Based in or near Reno/Lake Tahoe, with insider knowledge of the market 3+ years of sales experience in luxury hospitality, DMC, or events Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and unshakably professional A confident communicator with polished presence and a high EQ Tech-savvy (Salesforce, Microsoft Office, etc.) and proposal-savvy We’re award-winning – Global Stevie Award Winner for Great Employers We’re growing fast – Inc. 5000 company with 13+ destinations across the U.S. We’re people-first – Culture, collaboration, and care lead the way We’re opportunity-rich – Your growth is our growth Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Sales, Strategy/Planning, and Business Development Industries: Hospitality and Events Services Location Reno, NV, Lake Tahoe, or Daily Commutable Vicinity This is more than just a sales role.
