Meath Industry: Manufacturing Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Factory Manager to take full operational responsibility for a busy manufacturing facility in Co.
Meath.
This is a senior leadership role suited to a driven and commercially focused manufacturing professional with a passion for operational excellence, continuous improvement, people development, and customer satisfaction.
The successful candidate will oversee all site operations, including Production, Warehousing, Maintenance, Quality, Technical Processing, and Health & Safety, ensuring the facility operates efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.
The Role; Reporting to the Operations & Engineering Manager, you will: Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams across all operational functions.
Drive operational performance, productivity, quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Champion Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and operational excellence initiatives.
Promote and embed a strong Health & Safety culture across the site.
Manage and improve key operational KPIs, including production output, quality, costs, and OEE.
Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
Ensure ongoing compliance with ISO standards, regulatory requirements, and audit expectations.
Lead CAPEX projects and support investment in new technologies and process enhancements.
Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple sites on strategic business initiatives.
Foster a positive, high-performance culture that supports employee engagement and development.
About You; You will have: A degree qualification in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline (Level 7/8).
At least 8 years' experience in a senior manufacturing management role.
A proven track record of delivering operational KPIs and Health & Safety objectives.
Strong experience leading Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement programmes.
Excellent leadership, coaching, and people development skills.
Strong commercial awareness and a results-driven mindset.
Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with SAP experience desirable.
