Technical Product Manager

Define technical product requirements for products and services via detailed specifications. Work closely with development teams to build products and solutions based on these requirements. Develop and maintain short-term and long-term software product roadmaps. Drive product definition during the entire software product lifecycle from concept to launch. This includes leading software requirements gathering, product prioritization, and specifications, as well as contributing to work owned by other teams, especially analysis and scoping quality assurance and project management.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manages priorities, status and progress, trade-offs, escalations, impediment removal, scope changes, risks, dependencies, and value realization during the release cycle.
  • Collaborate and build a solid relationship with business partners to translate business strategy and objectives into actionable roadmaps.
  • Manages work across multiple IT groups to provide a single voice to business partners for a given project.
  • Ensures work backlogs are prioritized and plans are transparent to all stakeholders including Business Unit, Program Managers, SW Engineering Managers, Architecture, and Product Owners.
  • As a product manager, set priorities for the team, track dependencies, set milestones, and communicate risks to get results.
  • Communicate plans, status, and help needed to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Ability to work effectively in a constantly changing and sometimes ambiguous environment, make decisions quickly, manage simultaneous projects, and work with many stakeholders across internal groups and geographies.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Proven experience in demonstrating stakeholder management to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills to work across a globally diverse set of teams, management, and customers.
  • A self-starter with solid analytical and critical thinking skills to learn and apply.
  • Strategic and business value-driven mindset to plan, prioritize and influence customers and partners.
  • Proven success in establishing and delivering large-scale transformational projects with complex TCM.
  • Project management skills with the skills to drive multiple projects at once and manage feedback and expectations across multiple stakeholders and groups.
  • Leading cross-functional teams, across multiple geographic locations.

Minimum Qualifications: Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of Project Management experience or equivalent work experience where Project Management was a key component; or a Master's Degree with 4+ years of relevant work experience.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Adobe AEM, CSS, Search, and Product information management systems
  • Experience working with Agile projects will be an advantage.
  • Formal or informal solution Design experience.
  • Basic knowledge of SAFe and scaled agile methodology.
