Blue Streak Lighting & Electric is a growing commercial lighting and electrical contractor serving HOAs, property managers, commercial properties, retail centers, and industrial facilities throughout the Bay Area. We specialize in lighting maintenance, electrical service work, LED retrofit projects, and recurring maintenance programs. We are looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator / Inside Sales Representative to join our team and help grow our existing customer relationships. This is not an entry-level position. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in the electrical or lighting industry and understands how to accurately scope repair work, prepare estimates, and communicate technical solutions to customers. What You'll Do Prepare estimates for lighting and electrical repair projects Develop clear scopes of work for field technicians Review technician reports, photos, and recommendations Communicate with customers regarding project scope, pricing, and scheduling Follow estimates from initial inquiry through project approval Coordinate with operations to ensure smooth project handoff Identify opportunities for additional repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity Build long-term relationships through exceptional customer service What We're Looking For Experience estimating electrical service or lighting projects Working knowledge of commercial electrical systems and lighting Ability to interpret technician notes, photographs, and field conditions Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and time management abilities Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously Strong computer skills, including Google Workspace and estimating or service management software Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating with the team
