Job Details: Level: Experienced | Location: Remote - Baltimore, MD 21244 | Education Level: 4 Year Degree | Salary Range: $129,200.00 - $164,850.00 per year Index Analytics, LLC, is a rapidly growing Baltimore-based small business providing health-related consulting services to the federal government. The company focuses on creating a dynamic, employee‑friendly environment that promotes a supportive and collegial team culture with opportunities for career development and education. Index Analytics is seeking a mid‑level Salesforce Developer to support Government clients in the Baltimore and Washington, D.C. metro area. The incumbent will design and develop solutions on the Salesforce platform in collaboration with Business Analysts, Architects, and other team members to drive innovation and deliver high‑quality applications. This position requires an in‑person interview at our headquarters. Responsibilities Contribute to all technical aspects of the project, including designing, developing, testing, and deploying Salesforce applications throughout the full development lifecycle. Quickly learn and apply new Salesforce features, tools, and technologies while effectively communicating with business owners, technical teams, development partners, and user groups to support solution delivery. Ensure development projects meet business and end‑user requirements by identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving system issues to deliver reliable, high‑quality solutions. Support proof‑of‑concept efforts and technical solutioning, helping establish the technical vision and partnering with developers to bring that vision to life. Collaborate closely with stakeholders and team members to enable timely project delivery, supported by strong verbal and written communication skills and effective documentation. Qualifications US citizen or authorized to work and have lived in the US for three of the last five years. Must be able to obtain a U.S. Federal government client badge and pass a government Public Trust investigation. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with four or more years of experience customizing on the Salesforce Lightning platform, including Lightning components using the Lightning Design System, Lightning Web Components, Lightning Aura Components, and Apex (Batch, Controllers, Triggers). Two or more years of experience with declarative development on Salesforce using Workflows, Approval Processes, Process Builder, Flows, etc. Proven experience implementing Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud, including Live Chat, Knowledge, Case Lifecycle Management, Assignment Rules, Reports, and Dashboards. Hands‑on experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud design and development and working with third‑party tools and marketplace solutions from the AppExchange. Strong understanding of authentication and security protocols, including configuration of SAML and OAuth flows, and use of Salesforce application/platform security tools such as Snyk, AppOmni, or comparable solutions. Extensive experience integrating Salesforce with external systems, leveraging both point‑to‑point integrations and middleware platforms. Knowledge of GIT and CI/CD tools such as Copado is preferred. Strong communication and analytical skills. Actual offers may vary based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and market conditions.
