Job Details
Weekly Estimated Pay: $9,200 - $9,850 (competitive locum tenens cardiology pay)
Location: Everett, WA 98201 - Everett, Washington (Snohomish County)
Employment Type: Locum tenens (contract) - cardiology locum
Setting: Inpatient Cardiology - ICU and non-invasive cardiology services
Schedule: Onsite days (7am-5:30pm) plus night pager call (5pm-7am on select nights)
Duration: September 7, 2026 - January 3, 2027 (17 weeks)
Patient Encounters Per Shift: 15-18 (inpatient cardiology volume)
Trauma Level: Level 2
Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
Job Requirements Board certified physician in Internal Medicine - Cardiology (Board Certified Cardiologist)
Fellowship in Cardiology required
Minimum 1 year of inpatient cardiology experience (ICU and floor care)
Proficiency in ICU cardiology management, non-invasive cardiology, echocardiography, TEE (Transesophageal Echo), and nuclear cardiology
Ability to work both onsite inpatient shifts and night pager call (candidate must be able to cover both)
Willingness to cover multiple weeks for continuity of care (preference for continuity-focused locum tenens cardiologists)
Responsibilities Provide comprehensive inpatient cardiology care, including ICU management and acute cardiac care
Perform and interpret echocardiography, TEE, and nuclear cardiology studies as part of inpatient workflows
Respond to scheduled night pager call and provide timely triage and management
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (hospitalists, ICU staff, nursing, imaging) to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
Maintain accurate, compliant, and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
Deliver compassionate, culturally competent care to a diverse patient population in Everett and the greater Snohomish County region
