Your Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient evaluations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop customized care plans Diagnose and manage acute, chronic, and episodic health conditions collaboratively or independently Advise patients and their families on wellness, preventive care, and effective disease management strategies Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments within your practice authority Engage in ongoing patient follow-up and chronic disease management Work collaboratively across various healthcare teams to provide integrated patient care Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation using electronic medical record systems (EMR) Education Essentials
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Necessary Credentials
Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Kansas National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or related specialty Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to secure these within 90 days) Attributes That Will Make You Shine
