We are seeking an experienced DevOps-minded System Engineer who actively participates in the operation and development of complex systems. In this position, you will work in a modern, virtualized environment where stability, automation, and continuous improvement are key. Responsibilities Operating and further developing applications in a virtualized server environment Administering and optimizing complex system environments Ensuring the secure and efficient deployment of applications in a live environment Analyzing errors, managing incidents, and restoring services Developing automation solutions (Ansible, Docker, CI/CD pipelines) Participating in incident and problem management processes Taking into account IT security, compliance, and data protection aspects Creating and maintaining technical documentation and architectures Participating in service development and software development tasks Requirements Several years of experience in operating Linux servers (shell scripting, system configuration, debugging) Experience in system integration and support Programming experience (Java, Python, or similar languages) Good knowledge of automation and deployment (Ansible, Docker, CI/CD) Experience using ticketing and knowledge management systems Basic knowledge of event sourcing architectures Ability to think structurally and quickly understand complex systems Good communication skills and openness to teamwork Hands-on attitude and responsible work Fluent English speaking skills Advantages German language skills at C1 level Experience with Apache Kafka, Camunda 8, or Talend DMP Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) What the company offers Operating and developing complex, modern systems A DevOps-oriented, automation-based environment Real professional challenges and responsibilities Opportunities for technological development and deeper specialization A collaborative, professionally strong team If you enjoy working on the stable operation and automation of complex systems and value quality, security, and continuous development, we are waiting for your application.
