Purpose: The Junior Business Analyst supports the GBME Workforce & Business Management function by delivering workforce planning, headcount governance, reporting, and operational support across Global Banking & Markets Engineering (GBME). The role partners closely with Business Management, Finance, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and Technology teams to ensure workforce transparency, data integrity, financial accountability, and effective operational execution. The analyst will contribute to workforce planning, reporting, budgeting, and governance processes that support strategic decision-making. The successful candidate will maintain workforce plans, support hiring and contractor management activities, produce management reporting, monitor key performance indicators, and assist leadership with day-to-day business management operations. This role serves as a critical partner in ensuring the organization has the right talent, capacity, and insights required to operate effectively and achieve business objectives, while aligning with the Bank's values, risk appetite, and governance standards. Experience: 1-3 years of experience in Business Analysis, Workforce Planning, Financial Analysis, Reporting, Operations, PMO, Human Resources, or related disciplines. Technical Knowledge: Workforce Planning, Headcount Management, Business Management, Financial Analysis, Budgeting and Forecasting, Workforce Analytics, Operational Reporting, Resource Management Technology Skills: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, Power BI, SharePoint If your experience is closely related but doesn't align perfectly with every qualification, we do encourage you to apply - you might be the right candidate for this or other roles at Scotiabank!
