Role Description This Junior Business Analyst role is a contract position based in Seattle, WA, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some work from home. The individual in this role will support senior analysts and project teams by gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements from stakeholders. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing business processes, identifying gaps or inefficiencies, and assisting in the development of recommendations and solutions. The Junior Business Analyst will help prepare reports, process flows, and presentations to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. The role also involves coordinating meetings, tracking action items, and supporting testing and user acceptance activities to ensure solutions meet business needs.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making.
Foundational Business Analysis and Business Requirements skills to gather, document, and manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Understanding of Business Process concepts, with the ability to map, analyze, and suggest improvements to workflows.
Effective Communication skills, including clear written documentation, active listening, and confident stakeholder interaction.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Proficiency with common business tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with requirements or project management tools is beneficial.
Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing priorities.
Interest in technology consulting or IT services; prior internship or project experience in business analysis or related areas is a plus.
