Inside Sales Manager
to lead and develop their inside sales function. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day inside sales operations, driving revenue growth, optimizing processes, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. The Inside Sales Manager will lead a team of inside sales representatives, collaborate cross-functionally with Outside Sales, Marketing, eCommerce, and Operations, and ensure alignment with company growth objectives. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about coaching teams, improving processes, and leveraging data to drive performance. Leadership & Team Management
Lead, coach, and develop the Inside Sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Conduct regular performance reviews, pipeline discussions, and coaching sessions. Oversee daily inside sales activities including quoting, order management, and customer follow‑up. Drive revenue growth by maximizing opportunities within existing accounts and supporting new business development. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through responsiveness, accuracy, and service excellence. Partner closely with Outside Sales to support territory growth and account strategies. Performance Management & Reporting
Establish and monitor KPIs related to sales performance, conversion rates, response times, and customer retention. Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and forecasting within CRM (Salesforce or similar). Analyze sales data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with Marketing and eCommerce teams to support lead generation and campaign follow‑up. Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to ensure alignment on inventory, order fulfillment, and customer expectations. Collaborate with Finance on pricing, margins, and profitability goals. Operational Excellence
Ensure CRM is effectively utilized for customer management, reporting, and process efficiency. Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce cycle times. Support implementation of tools, systems, and best practices that enhance the inside sales function. What you need to possess.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred. 5–8+ years of sales experience, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership or supervisory role. Proven track record of driving sales performance in inside sales, customer service, or account management environments. Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or technical product sales preferred. Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills. Data-driven mindset with experience using CRM systems (Salesforce or similar). Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
