Join a dedicated healthcare team in the heart of the Midwest region, providing essential radiologic imaging services that support life-saving diagnoses. As an ARRT Radiologic Technologist, you will operate advanced imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images, assisting radiologists in patient care. Key Responsibilities
Maintain schedule flexibility and punctuality while managing multiple priorities efficiently under pressure. Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare staff, ensuring exam status updates and responding promptly to patient needs. Provide safe patient transfers using adaptive equipment such as hoyer lifts and sliding boards. Adhere to confidentiality standards and participate in performance improvement initiatives. Perform radiologic procedures in compliance with departmental policies and regulatory guidelines, accurately interpreting physician orders and maintaining thorough records. Education Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program is required. Experience At least six months of experience as a registered radiographer is preferred but not mandatory. Certifications and Licenses
Current registration as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or registry-eligible candidates who will attempt and pass the registry within 90 days of hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
Mental and Physical Requirements Close mental and visual attention for extended periods is necessary. The role involves standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 35 lbs., and other physical activities. Ability to work under stressful conditions and transport oneself throughout the department is essential. Working Conditions Potential exposure to infectious diseases, chemicals, anesthetics, and controlled radiation. The position may require on-call duties and varied shifts to ensure continuous patient care.
