Position Summary
The Inside Sales Representative, based in our Houston regional office and reporting to the Regional Sales Director, plays a key role in delivering exceptional customer support while driving sales growth.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to launch a career in a highly respected sales organization while gaining valuable industry knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary customer contact from initial inquiry through final delivery - Prepare proposals and clearly communicate details to customers - Source materials to meet non-inventory customer requirements - Represent Tioga professionally in all interactions with customers, vendors, contractors, and colleagues - Interpret and communicate product specifications - Manage orders from inquiry to fulfillment - Maintain CRM records and follow up on customer inquiries - Build and sustain strong relationships with customers and suppliers - Coordinate internally to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction - Identify and develop sales opportunities with new and existing customers - Proactively follow up and close sales opportunities - Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience - Strong business acumen with a sales-oriented mindset - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Proven customer service and relationship-building abilities - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and large data sets - Strong mathematical and mechanical aptitude
