Medical Assistant

Flagstaff Bone and Joint Surgical Center is hiring a Medical Assistant. At Flagstaff Bone and Joint Surgical Center, we are dedicated to providing exceptional outpatient orthopedic and musculoskeletal care in a patient-focused environment. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality surgical services with compassion, efficiency, and clinical excellence. Whether you work directly with patients or support operations behind the scenes, every role contributes to creating a positive experience for our patients and physicians.

The Medical Assistant supports physicians and clinical staff by providing patient care, preparing patients for examinations and procedures, maintaining accurate medical records, and assisting with clinical and administrative duties. This role helps ensure efficient daily operations while delivering compassionate care to patients throughout their surgical experience.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred

Current Medical Assistant certification preferred

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a medical office, clinic, or surgical setting preferred

Knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and patient care techniques

Strong organizational and communication skills

Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Experience with electronic medical records and computer systems preferred

Current BLS certification required
